Garmin Approach S3 GPS Watch - White/Red

The Garmin Approach S3 GPS Watch is a device golfers can use from the tee box to the green. It expands upon the distance-to-the-green information (front, middle, and back) found in the popular S1 and adds additional features to navigate the entire hole and speed up play. The convenient and easy-to-use touchscreen has been added to designated buttons and makes an already easy-to-use interface even simpler and glove friendly. The high-resolution display of the S3 has eight-times more pixels than the S1. This added detail offers the capability for more advanced features, such as score keeping for stroke play or Stableford. The screen has high reflectivity that enhances brightness with sunlight so that you can read it anywhere.

Over all easiest yardage marker I have used. Speeds up play by not having to be dependant on cart position. December 18, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by HYBG Fun to use I've used this since its intrduction in June, it replaced my S1. This unit provides accurate information related lay up distances, distance to the green and pin location if desired. It is great for the level at which I play. It took a little time to learn how to use, like anything new. I forgot it last week, I felt lost. It is so fun, easy and accurate. I too have experienced members of my group putting away their lasers and handheld GPS units and asking me for distances. If you are looking for detailed course information, this may not be the unit for you. October 3, 2012
