The Cobra AMP Forged Iron Set is trusted and Tour proven. This iron set combines forged performance with Advanced Material Placement (AMP) to offer the best of both worlds— playability with forgiveness. Tungsten weights in the heel and toe concentrate weight to the heel and toe to increase forgiveness without sacrificing workability. The Vibration Dampening System, which is an aluminum backplate encased in TPR (thermoplastic rubber) and lightweight TPR insert, provides vibration damping for better feel and sound. Constructed of precision-forged 1020 steel, the AMP forged iron set delivers unparalleled feel and performance. The CNC-milled pocket allows up to 26.5 grams of weight to be redistributed to the tungsten weighted areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cobra AMP Forged I just got these clubs for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and finally had a chance to play with them today. These clubs are spectacular. I was looking at the Razr and R-11 irons, but I am very glad that I settled on these. The conditions were not very good--very windy day;however, the irons felt great. I had three birdies, lipped a putt for birdie and burned the edges on a couple of other putts. Considering the wind that i had to deal with, pretty amazing. It feels great when you hit the sweet spot and the off-center shots are not very penalizing. They were also very long when struck well. Rated 5 out of 5 by Under the Radar?? These irons seem to have been overlooked perhaps as I don't see many reviews so i'll chime in. I didn't plan on purchasing a new set of irons as I was satisfied with my S3's but after trying these at a cobra demo day I was impressed enough to purchase a set and I haven't regretted it. These are very crisp sounding when striking the ball and will give you great feed back when you haven't struck it on the sweet spot but buttery when struck well. They have decent wokability to play desired draws or fades, distance is plenty long as well. The orange grips aren't distracting and I must admit I really do like them now, at adress the the top line is thinner than my old set but not as thin as a blade. I will probabnly be gaming this set for quite awhile so my advice is to give 'em a test spin you just might be pleasently suprised! September 10, 2012
