Mizuno JPX-825 Pro 4-PW, GW Iron Set with Graphite Shafts

The grain flow forged Mizuno JPX-825 Pro Iron Set pushes the design limits to achieve greater forgiveness and feel in this “player’s” game improvement iron. The 4-7 irons offer a deep CNC milled pocket cavity that provides 17 grams of discretionary weight that is used for extreme toe-heel weighting providing plenty of forgiveness where you need it. The 8-iron through the Gap Wedge feature a full cavity design with greater thickness behind impact for a more penetrating and workable ball flight for pinpoint accuracy in the scoring irons.

Utilizing Harmonic Impact Technology, Mizuno engineers designed an incredibly strong cavity frame that allows a thinner, more reactive face for increased initial ball speed while maintaining an unbelievably solid feel at impact. A tour confirmed triple cut sole design provides the appropriate relief on the leading and trailing edges for ideal turf interaction and solid ball striking from anywhere on the course.

Features:

  • Grain Flow Forged 1025E “Pure Select” mild carbon steel provides superior soft, solid, and consistent feel
  • Enhanced COR face design for increased distance
  • 4-7 iron deep CNC milled pocket cavity for ease of launch and greater forgiveness
  • 8-GW solid full cavity design for precision and control
  • Toe/Heel weighted cavity design increases Sweet Area
  • Impact sound optimized through Modal Analysis software and Mizuno’s Harmonic Impact Technology
  • Tour confirmed triple cut sole design
  • Double Nickel Chrome plated for elegant and durable finish

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hot Face My first day out with the JPX 825 Pro convinced me that the greater ball speed I experienced in the monitor was not a fluke. The ball flies farther and even though the lofts are 1 degree stronger than my Pings, I still had all the elevation I wanted. I suspect the Fujikura Orochi shaft has really been tuned to the JPX head to give you the correct ball flight. They don't have quite the soft feel of the MP line, but they still feel very good! I could work the ball both ways at least as much as my talent will let me. There is a talent limit I have to deal with. It was a little wet on the course, but I didn't feel I had any issues with the sole. And frankly the JPX 825 Pro is a very good looking club that rests somewhere between a blade and game improvement head. December 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lefty Discrimination I've been in out of golf stores, pro shops, etc. For some reason I continue to go directly to the JPX-825 PRO Irons. There's only one problem, I'm left handed and left handed PRO Irons are not available for lefties. I realize that left handed golfers are discriminated against when it comes to golf equipment. Why not rethink your production strategy and produce these irons for lefties. It's like your giving the right handed golfers an advantage. I look forward to the day when I can swing a set of JPX-825 PRO Irons. July 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Irons!!! I am thoroughly impressed with these amazing irons!!! I have had a hard time finding a replacement iron to my classic Mizuno MX-200's. I had those for the past 5 years and have been trying to replace them for the past couple of years. I hadn't been successful until now!!! The JPX 825 Pro's are amazing throughout the entire set!! They look beautiful at address and are perfectly sized. And they perform amazing!!! They feel so smooth and well balanced throughout the entire swing and deliver a sweet/soft feeling at impact. They are about a club longer than my previous irons which will help tremendously. But even on off-center hits, they're pretty forgiving and you still get a good result. You can also work the ball with ease. They also have a nice penetrating ball flight, the ball just pierces through the air on a beautiful/high trajectory. Mizuno has a winner here!!! They are just amazing!! I can't say enough good things about these irons! I just want to hit them all day! If you're even considering these irons, just give them a try at your local golf shop and you will be impressed! June 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great long irons I purchased the 4 and 5 iron as part of a combo set with the MP-64s. Having the 4 and 5 in the JPX is a great match. They are forgiving and launch the ball very well. I highly recommend these clubs to players of all levels. May 15, 2014
