The Approach S1 is ready to go out of the box with thousands of preloaded courses covering all of the U.S. and Puerto Rico, so there's no need for subscriptions. “Overnight” shipments will arrive the next business day (excluding weekends and holidays) after departing Golfsmith. “2-Day Air” shipments arrive in two business days after departing Golfsmith. On-time delivery for both methods is guaranteed by FedEx. Shipping delays may occur during busy Holidays or in the spring -- we will do our best to accommodate last minute and expedited orders placed during these times.

Most orders are shipped within 48 hours of online placement. Orders must be placed by 9am (CST) Monday-Friday in order to be eligible for that day's “Overnight” or “2-Day Air” shipments. Orders for residential delivery placed on Sunday or Monday will not be shipped until Tuesday and orders for business delivery placed on weekends will not ship until Monday, so please take this into consideration when specifying expedited shipping requests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic My husband bought me the watch for Christmas, it is amazing how it has changed my short game. I now have confidence in the club I have chosen to put it in on target. The charge will last for two rounds of golf and every course I have played is in the system. The only con is the charging, it can be annoying to get the pins lined up correctly to charge. I love being able to just check the distance with a quick glance. Even my husband will ask me now for shot distances instead of bring out his Leupold. I would definitely recommend it ! April 26, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rose I bought this GPS as an addition to my range finder and for a quick glance to determine distance. It is perfect except for the charging system. Not only does it need to be charged every single time I play but its slips off its idiotic button charger and then it isn't ready when I need it. I wouldn't recommend this until garmin comes up with a more reliable charging system. March 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy GPS For a newer golfer this has been a great tool. A quick look down at the wrist gives you distance to the front, back and middle. I don't need laser accuracy for my game, so this is perfect for me. It's much more convenient than a pocket GPS or a phone. Some cons are it's a little difficult to charge at times, you definitely have to make sure the pins are touching the charging pads. I was actually convinced by the Golfsmith associate that I didn't need the S3 unless I was planning on doing a lot of golf playing outside of the US. This has been great for my game. March 9, 2013
