Rated 5 out of 5 by Filled my needs perfectly I have returned to the game after a decade+ long layoff due to cancer (multiple myeloma). My 16 year old son dug the clubs from the garage and we hit balls and I loved it except for the strong stinging in my hands and overall weakness from 10+ years of battling cancer. I have strong peripheral neuropathy in my hands and other extremities as a side effect of chemotherapy drugs I have taken and continue to take. After swinging a few demo clubs at the shop, I was attracted to the V4 hybrid set. The next weekend Adams had a demo day scheduled at a course not too far away and my son and I made our way out. I tried out V4's and others in the line, really like the ease and feel with the V4 hybrid set. The rep and I discussed flex and determined that I was still in regular range, and should see some strength return as the muscles relearn their jobs. I ended up ordering the V4 hybrid 4-GW set in regular graphite with Winn Excel Jumbo grips. They feel wonderful, the range trips since their arrival have been much easier on my hands. Face contact seems more consistent and the irritation from being a little off center is absolutely much less. My old irons had rifle steel shafts and felt a lot heavier, I am really loving the feel of the graphite along with such a solid feel at contact. April 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Went from Adams hybrid set to new Adams V-4 Forged Set I have been playing Adams clubs for years, however, I never owned a set of forged clubs and decided I would try the New V-4's. Went to the simulator got fitted and then had the clubs built by Golfsmith. Took the shafts out of a stock set and replaced them with Aerotech Steelfiber shafts. I am an 11 handicap and have only played about 5 rounds with these clubs, but, I am very, very, impressed. The ball jumps off the clubface and the distance control is excellent. The ball flight is slightly lower than my previous set, which is probably a function of the shafts. I have the 3H, 5H and 4H and these are even more impressive than the irons (which are outstanding). I haven't even gotten used to these clubs and already they are scoring better than my old ones. At this pace the handicap will be in the mid-single digits by the end of fall. Great Job Adams, thanks. Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy To Hit Bought the all Hybrid option, They worked pretty good in the simulator....Had them on the indoor range today...They where really easy to hit. Sound nice and crisp. Seem really hot off the face. Can't tell the distance yet though..Still winter time here.....With the simulator I was hitiing a 7 iron 160 yrds consistently. I switched from Callaway Razr X Irons. Can't wait till the season starts. February 25, 2013
