Rated 4 out of 5 by paleman27 They are not the 2008 S9s These clubs (Amp Cell) are well crafted and build by one of the finest clubmakers in the sport. They pay atenttion to every detail and they are no short promise of the highest bar of this discipline. However, I had my hopes high, until I saw and tried them today, that they were the true successors of the 2008 Cobra S9. It is my opinion that Cobra has widen their gap of their offering to the high to mid hadicapper and med to low hadicapper. The Cobra Blaffer is your bulky entry level type of club. The Amp Cell is a Mid to low hadicapper club (i.e. if you shoot in the 90's, never mind the 100's this club is not for you). What am saying is that the S9 was a club perfectly build for the 85-93 scorer. Amp Cell are for the 84 and under player and the Baffler is for the 98+ player. In conclusion, from the S9, an award winning club, Cobra spread two ways very apart from the perfect concept. February 20, 2013
