Callaway X Hot Fairway Woods are longer from everywhere and offer total performance combining a Forged Face Cup with the Speed Frame Face to increase ball speeds across the face. Designed with a lower CG to reduce spin and a modern Warbird soleplate, these new fairway woods provide increased distance and versatility from the tee, fairway or rough.

Forged Speed Frame Face Cup: Increases ball speeds across the face for longer, more consistent distance from everywhere.

Modern Warbird Sole: This updated design builds off of one of the most versatile fairway woods ever produced to provide increased versatility from everywhere.

Internal Standing Wave: Lowers the CG of the head to create a lower spinning trajectory and increase distance.

Lightweight Project X Velocity Shaft: This premium lightweight shaft further enhances speed and distance.

I bought the 9.5 driver, 3 and 5. all my buddies are drooling over my new found length. only problem I have is now have a big gap between my 5 metal and my 4 iron. guess i'll have to get the 7. Rated 5 out of 5 by Must Buy I hadn't purchased new fairway woods in years...i hit these at Golfsmith and decided to give them a whirl due to their feel. Picked up the 3 and 5 wood, didn't get an opportunity to go to the range before going to play a round with my friends...the first opportunity i had to hit the 3 wood, my honest-to-goodness reaction was "wooooooooooooooooooohhhhooooooooo"...it flew long and super straight despite the fact i am used to playing a slight fade. My buddies tried them out too and one of them is going to purchase these as well. I was so impressed with the fairway woods that I went out and bought the x-hot Driver as well and although I have had to tweek my swing somewhat to allow for a straight hit as opposed to setting up for a fade, I think that's a problem I'll take every day of the week and twice on Sunday. A couple more months of this and I should be looking to finally break 80! March 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW This is the best 3 wood I have ever hit, period. I am about a 3 handicap and am fairly long, however I did not think I could ever be this long. I played this weekend and left my driver at home on accident, so I hit 3 wood on every tee. I hit ever single fairway on a 147 slope rating course and averaged 280 yard drives, one of which poking out to 300. On a 560 yard par 5 I made the green in two and was 5 feet away and was able to stop it within two feet. I have never found a better 3 wood, and I still have yet to be fitted for the shaft on it!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! I tried in in a simulator and alternated between the X-HOT and my Cobra S3 3wood. I consistently was 20-25 yards longer with the X-HOT. it was like it was shot out of a cannon. I bought it immediately. Because I live in the northeast, i have not been able to try it on the course yet, but i can't wait. Callaway is going to sell a lot of these. February 11, 2013
