With its OptiFit design, the X Hot Driver also provides enhanced adjustability for a wide range of swings. A lighter configuration, optimized CG and larger sweet spot help to maximize length, and the OptiFit Hosel lets golfers set the speed frame face to fine tune their trajectory off the tee.

OptiFit Technology: OptiFit Hosel allows golfers to set the adjustable speed frame face in either the Open, Square or Closed positions to fine tune trajectory and appearance.

Speed Frame Face Technology: A combination of VFT and Hyperbolic Face Technology creates a larger sweet spot and fast ball speed for maximum distance. This technology also saves weight that can be redistributed to the perimeter of the clubhead for a higher MOI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Big Pappa Drivers Very accurate , barley feel the ball off the club, and I have pickup at least 10 to 15 yards extra on my drivers . Kept the face on Neutral. The project X 5.5 is a great shaft. Recommend this shaft and club because it has reduced the spin on the ball creating more distance. Still keeping up with my young playing partners off the tee with this driver April 22, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by GolfingGrandpa Profoundly Straight By far, the new X Hot Driver is the best I have ever hit. At age 70, I am hitting the ball consistently 240 to 260 yards and straight as an arrow. This driver is lighter which gives me about 3 mph faster clubhead speed (equals 15 to 20 yards). It is much easier to control the line which means hitting more fairways. Love the sound and the feel when hitting the ball. I tried all the new X Hot clubs at a demo day in Florida and will get the complete set as soon as I am back in Michigan. The 7-wood will replace my normal 3-hybrid and I plan to buy the X Hot Pro irons. Thanks Callaway; great new clubs! March 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Old golfer HOT X DRIVER FROM CALLAWAY GOLF I tested the driver before buying at a Callaway Golf Center. At first it didn't appear to be any better than my current Callaway Diablo Octane Driver. Club is a lot lighter than the Octane and feels good at address. But at the center when tested it didn't seem to be any better than the Octane. I was hitting both when doing the testing. Took the wife to the center next day and wanted her to try it and she loved it. It is a lot lighter than the Octane and was a lot easy for her to hit. I do a lot of club repairs and today when we got our Hot X 9.5 senior flex I checked the head and it is 12 grams lighter that the Octane. We took it to the course today and tested it to see how it compared to our current ones. Results were good and better than expected. I think this driver will be better for the older players due to the weight. Just need to make sure you get the right shaft flex because of the light head. February 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tedley I wouldrecommend this product, but only to try it...these items are personal preferences I've had a number of drivers over the years and without a doubt this is the best I've used to date. This driver has great feel & sound off of the ball. I cannot remember when I've hit the ball straighter or longer. I am using the standard setting and hitting a slight draw which I favour from the tee. February 12, 2013
