Callaway X Forged Individual Iron with Steel Shaft

Callaway X Forged Irons are Triple Net Forged for performance. Crafted by Callaway Chief Designer Roger Cleveland with direct input from Tour players, these irons provide the ultimate in feel and performance that you can only get in a pure Forging. The Triple Net Forging process allows for more aggressive grooves and extreme precision to create the feel, ball flight and turf interaction that the very best players prefer.

Triple Net Forging ensures extremely tight tolerances which canít be achieved with conventional methods.

A Bright Chrome Finish creates a smooth, appealing look at address.

A 20° Closed Space V Groove produces tightly spaced grooves to promote more aggressive shot-shaping.

The Project X PXi Shaft (new top-of-the-line shaft) is lighter and softer than standard PX shafts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST PLAYERS IRON AVAILABLE TODAY!!!! I have played Mizunos and Calloway Muscle Backs and first edition of their Forged Iron two years ago. I began my golf game with Wilson Staff Fluid Feel Irons in 1981, which were Wilson Staff's Last Great Players Irons! The Calloway Forged Iron's on the market today are THE BEST PLAYERS IRONS EVER PRODUCED PERIOD! The feel of well struck shots is INCREDIBLE! These irons are the easiest players irons to hit ever available and working the ball is amazing! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Nippon 95 Shafts and you will be in GOLF HEAVEN! The added distance with these Players Irons will blow you away! The Apex are nice, but the Forged are MUCH BETTER!!!!! May 26, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by good clubs Clubs are good,#9 iron shaft bent badly,do callaway have quality control? May 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Impressed I found that for a 12 handicap these clubs were a bit more than I expected. I haven't purchased a set of clubs in 14 years and to my surprises these felt GREAT. Please also keep in mind the only thing I don't like about these clubs are from "ball striking". I have a tendency for my misses to be out on the toe of the club and I have to say that with a fairly hard swing, these miss hits are what I call a "hand shaker" and they hurt. Long story short, I have made my adjustments over the last 16 rounds of golf this month and I am hitting them better than ever. I have also found that with this combination of club and shaft, I can work the ball with ease and making some shots that I would have never even looked at easy to accomplish. I love the trajectory and the good shots feel great. The distances I haven't gotten down yet, due to concentrating ont he ball striking, but I think they are about 7-9 yards longer than my old clubs. All of the reviews that I read prior to purchasing these clubs were spot on. May 12, 2014
