Ping G25 Driver

With its performance-engineered adjustable hosel, the Ping G25 Driver's hosel design is optimized by using a lightweight titanium screw and aluminum hosel sleeve. The design maintains the same outer diameter and mass as Ping's traditional fixed hosels. This provides the benefits of adjustability (+/- 1/2 degree) without sacrificing the performance that's often lost in clubs with larger, bulkier hosel designs.

Deeper profile, high MOI
A deeper profile than the G20 (.140" deeper) helps position the CG lower and farther back than any Ping driver to date. It is Ping's largest-profile, most forgiving, highest-launching driver available.

Ultra-Thin-Crown technology
Thinner crown sections in the Ti 8-1-1 head allow weight re-distribution to further optimize the CG position. Structural reinforcements in the crown, sole, and skirt ensure durability and provide a solid feel and sound.

Larger, variable-thickness face
With a larger face than the G20, the G25 offers greater forgiveness across the entire face. The variable-thickness face delivers a powerful energy transfer for faster ball speeds and greater distances.

Additional features:

  • Trajectory Tuning technology: adjust loft +/- 1/2 degree
  • Added distance from high launch, low spin
  • Center of gravity position low and back
  • 460cc Ti 8-1-1 head is Ping's biggest
  • Variable-thickness face design
  • Charcoal, non-glare matte finish

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 27 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just got fitted for this I've been using a Cleveland Launcher 9.0 degree for 2 years. I bought it when I started golfing. I went in to Golfsmith for a fitting since I couldn't cure my slice on my drives. The club fitter put me on the launch monitor and came to realize that my shaft was too stiff(not a major problem in life), for a golf club, it depends on your swing speed. Mine isn't that high, even though I'm a stronger person. Also, my club head was way too light for me, this has a little heavier club head. All in all, I went to a 10.5 degree with a regular flex. I hit half a bucket this morning at the range and couldn't believe how straight my drives were. It's like my missing link!! So if you have trouble with your driver, go to Golfsmith and get fitted!! It will change everything. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The driver is back in the bag I went into GolfSmith today to get fitted for a new set of irons, and decided to bring my G20 driver with me and compare it to the G25. I've had some issues finding fairways with my G20 in a stiff flex, so my fitter had me hit the G25. He actually recommended a regular flex for my swing type, handed me the G25, and next thing I know, I'm hitting the long ball much more consistently off the tee. The G25 driver was easy to hit, and even easier to control. I'll be thinking twice now before reaching for my 3-wood at the tee box. February 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this driver. I've been playing this driver for six months. I have played the RocketBallz Stage 2 and R11-S for six months or more each. The G-25 is as long as the RocketBallz, but straighter for me (both of those were longer than the R11-S for me). I also went to the TaylorMade fitting center to test the R1 Driver. The RocketBallz Stage 2 was more accurate and longer than the R1 for me on the range. Ignore anyone who says one driver is longer than another without qualifying it. Try them at the range with a Trackman. Each club and shaft is different depending on your swing speed and kick point. The G-25 works for me. When a new driver comes out, I try it at the range and see how much longer it is and if it hurts my accuracy. If it is longer and doesn't hurt my accuracy, I'll buy it. January 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by keep it in play! I just purchased this club as a christmas as a gift to myself. Came down to Puerto Rico to Play some Golf at Punta Borinque. The rough at this golf course is my worst nightmare, but with this G-25 I have been living in the fairway. Played two rounds so far, I have been hitting them long and staying in play. The club feels great to swing and is the most forgiving driver I have owned. I 'm falling in love. It fits my swing!!!! December 24, 2013
