Ping G25 Driver

With its performance-engineered adjustable hosel, the Ping G25 driver's hosel design is optimized by using a lightweight titanium screw and aluminum hosel sleeve. The design maintains the same outer diameter and mass as Ping's traditional fixed hosels. This provides the benefits of adjustability (+/- 1/2 degree) without sacrificing the performance that's often lost in clubs with larger, bulkier hosel designs.

Deeper profile, high MOI
A deeper profile than the G20 (.140" deeper) helps position the CG lower and farther back than any Ping driver to date. It is Ping's largest-profile, most forgiving, highest-launching driver available.

Ultra-Thin-Crown technology
Thinner crown sections in the Ti 8-1-1 head allow weight re-distribution to further optimize the CG position. Structural reinforcements in the crown, sole, and skirt ensure durability and provide a solid feel and sound.

Larger, variable-thickness face
With a larger face than the G20, the G25 offers greater forgiveness across the entire face. The variable-thickness face delivers a powerful energy transfer for faster ball speeds and greater distances.

Additional features:

  • Trajectory Tuning technology: adjust loft +/- 1/2 degree
  • Added distance from high launch, low spin
  • Center of gravity position low and back
  • 460cc Ti 8-1-1 head is Ping's biggest
  • Variable-thickness face design
  • Charcoal, non-glare matte finish

Rated 5 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rocket Launcher I've gone through drivers left and right over the years hoping to find the perfect one for me. Finally I broke down and went through a full driver fitting. I tried basically everything on the market and compared it against my Rocketballz driver from last year. In the end it came down to the Anser/Phenom shaft combination or the G25. In the end the G25 with the stock TFC shaft won out, and I'm getting about 20 more yards over my RBZ. On the course I now have that perfect looking driver ball flight, and it's just launching rockets off the face. I'm getting more distance than I ever have, the feel off the face is so solid, and as long as my face is square it's idiot proof for finding fairways. May 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Low spin, high launch I was thinking Taylormade RBZ Stage 2 or R1 when I went to club fitting. After hitting, many drivers, Ping G25 spin rate is the lowest even with miss hits or trying to go after the balls. I took it out during a windy day. When against wind, the ball still went longer than my previous driver and stayed in the air for a while. With this driver, it allows me to focus on my swing. The only "complaint" I have is the impact sound. It is loud. It definitely attracts attention. April 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent driver! I hit the 9.5, 10.5 and the 8.5 with the still and regualr shaft in each. I have been playing the G-15 10.5 since it first came out. The 9.5 gave me a more penetrating ball flight and with roll out went about 10-15 yards my current G-15. Last year when I tried the G-20 I only picked up 3 yards so I kept the G-15 in play... With my slow swing speed right around 90 mph it was refreshing to pick up some yardage. I had tried the Callaway and the Taylor Made but the Ping just felt better. I was also able to hit the clubs at a driving range rather than inside..... I kept going back and forth with the old club switching back every 2 swings. The mat finish just looks better and after 10-15 swings the G-15 gloss finish started looking odd..... Love this Club cannot watch to put it in play this weekend. April 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by As advertised I purchased the 10.5 Ping stock regular shaft version a month ago. I am a mid single digit handicapper. It is advertised as a higher launch driver with lower spin. My swing speed is 88-89 mph and I normally generate a spin rate higher than would be expected. For me, the G25 produces lower rpm than most new drivers and about 300 rpm more with the standard setting (2800 for me) than my very low spinningTaylormade R11 reg Aldila RIP shaft and is much more forgiving and more workable than the R11. More importantly for me, it doesn't feel like you're hitting the ball with a board, like the R11. With the higher launch and slightly more spin I get another 5 to 10 yards. For me, the 1/2 degree adjustability provides enough, for say, bringing the ball down in windy conditions and provides a noticeable reduction in spin rate. I would say that their stock shaft is slightly softer than the Adila Rip shaft and matches well with the head. Having said that, for me it doesn't have either a hook or slice bias. While I would definitely suggest a launch monitor for those with higher swing speeds (for anyone for that matter) before purchase to get the correct shaft/head combination, Ping got this one right!!!
