Ping G25 4-PW, UW Iron Set with Steel Shafts - Black Dot

The thin top line and moderate offset of the Ping G25 4-PW, UW Iron Set with Steel Shafts provides a look which appeals to a wide variety of golfers looking for a game improvement model. The sole widths vary (wide to narrow) from the 3-iron through pitching wedge to provide higher-launching, more forgiving long irons, and short irons with added playability and control.

The re-engineered Custom Tuning Port (CTP) is lower than the G20 and integrated into the sole to lower mass and position the center of gravity for high-launching, forgiving results. Support bars align with the impact area to ensure a solid feel and distance control throughout the set. An elastomer cavity badge helps improve feel.

Additional features:

  • Set composition: 4-Iron thru PW, and UW
  • Long-iron forgiveness, short-iron control
  • Sleeker profile, narrower sole
  • Re-engineered Custom Tuning Port (CTP)
  • Stabilizing bars for distance control
  • 17-4 stainless steel with elastomer cavity badge

Rated 5 out of 5 by You need confidence ? Get the G25 !!! Awesome !!! I just upgrade my great G2 ping irons, for the G25. Because a big lower back problem i lost a big chunk of swing speed, and i think is a good time for a new set of irons. i tested in the simulator the TM speedblades, the Callaway X2 hot's, and the Ping G25. All great clubs. i think the speed blades and x2's give you a little more distance, but the accuracy and feel of the G25 is outstanding. Then i chose the G25. i get fitted and ended with a black dot regular flex (my G2 were blue dot stiff), what happened in the course is a lost in distance (i believe for the change in stiffness of the shaft, and my change in swing speed ), but with the outstanding forgiveness and improved accuracy i lower my hcp 6 strokes, and keep improving. The black finish of the clubs seems to fade, but i'm extremely satisfied with this clubs. Accuracy, forgiveness and good looking, what else do you need ?? My distance with the 7 iron is 150 yards and very accurate, with the speedblades and x2's i get almost 10 more yards, but with a bigger dispersion. Get fitted for the G25 and smile a lot in the 18th hole !!! June 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by glad i switched ! I went from callaway big bertha irons which i loved, to taylormade burner irons which i loved, but tried and purchased the PingG25 irons and i'm even happier with. My ball flight is more uniformed and i haven't suffered any distance loss, in fact i may have gained some distance. I am hitting the ball as far as last year, even this early in the year, with limited playing and with all the moisture in the air. April 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good!!!! These Pings have top be the easiest irons that I have ever hit. Am getting older and need all of the help that I can get -- these easily fit the bill! Easy to line up and ball flies long and straight. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Why stiff shaft? Read comment by a 34 hdcp golfer who was extolling the virtues of the G25. My question:what pro(if any) would outfit a 34 handicapper with stiff shafts/black dot configuration? I don't care if swing speed is 120, 34 hdcp golfers do not/should not swing stiff shaft. Regular steel shaft with blue dot might take 10 strokes off his hdcp, since I am also guessing he pushes/slices his irons, so slight upright would alleviate that issue and regular shaft would foster a smoother swing. Playing golf 50 years, still single digit hdcp, so I do know what I am talking about! January 1, 2014
