Rated 5 out of 5 by moved from tayormade Burner Hybrid great hybrid clubs so much easier to hit when compared to Talyormades burner 3 & 4 options December 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Hybrid I recently upgrades my bag with all Cleveland products and cannot be happier. From the 588 wedges to the drivers and now to compliment the long irons with several of their hybrids. Good swing weight, easy to hit and launches the ball with ease. The hybrids are a good look at address and provide good distance plus realiability. Put some in your bag. November 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Classic by name... I fell in love with Hybrids when trying one of my son's Nicklaus Dual Point. Those clubs had the classic hybrid look, and performed extremely well. I'd still use them today except compared to the rest of my set, they were significantly heavier. I have gone through a number of makes and models looking for a the classic shape and feel of the Nicklaus, but with the light weight I prefer. I visited Golfsmith recently on the renewed quest, and worked through the latest cast of new clubs from the leading brands. But before I even hit the Cleveland Classic Hybrid, I knew the look and feel of the club were exactly what I was looking for. It is light, with a small, compact head. The balance is nice, though at first I wondered if it was too light. But when I started hitting shots, I found I could make an easy swing and get excellent results--with others, such as the RocketBallz Stage 2, I felt like I had to swing harder to get a good result. For me the Cleveland launches it medium high and seems to impart less spin than other hybrids I've used. Distance for the #3 was slightly longer than the RocketBallz Tour #3 I previously used. It is easy to hit it high or low, as desired, but the biggest advantage I have seen since taking it to the course is how much straighter I hit it than my previous hybrids. It is condusive to hitting draws, and faded too (with a bit more effort, for me). It may not be for everyone, but the smaller, lighter form makes it an easy club to hit in a variety of conditions, the trajectory is just the right combination for carry and control, and you might just be surprised by how consistently straight you hit it.
