Mizuno JPX EZ Forged 4-PW, GW Iron Set with Steel Shafts

Stay aggressive and go for the pin with the added solid feel of a Grain Flow Forged clubhead. The Mizuno JPX EZ Forged Iron Set delivers explosive distance and the same effortless flight and tight dispersion of the JPX EZ series but with the soft, solid feel of Mizuno's exclusive Grain Flow Forging process. Attack the course! Feel impact like nothing you've ever experienced.

"The JPX EZ Forged can't be compared to anything. It matches up to game-improvement cast irons for distance and forgiveness, yet it's Grain Flow Forged from a single billet of 1025E mild carbon steel. You've got all the game-improvement features you've ever had but with a whole different level of feel."

Club Engineer

Ratings and Reviews for the Mizuno JPX EZ Forged 4-PW, GW Iron Set with Steel Shafts

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by let it fly the easiest set of clubs I ever hit. the ball launches off the club face. the ball flight is high and comes straight down with no forward spin/bounce. I'm a 20 handicapper.this is the first set of clubs that I use the entire set of clubs. usually I used the 6 iron down & 4-5 hyprids. this iron set is as advertised. EASY HITTING.... Rated 5 out of 5 by Is This Fair? I have played forged irons for over 10 years. I love the feel of a pure struck forged iron. I however, suffer sometimes because I do not always hit the center of the iron. I tried some of the new Mizuno clubs and for the heck of it I hit the EZ Forged. I honestly could not tell the difference in the feel of this club and other smaller forged clubs. After a few rounds I found myself hitting my 6 iron 190 yards on short par threes off the tee. I felt as though I was cheating. It is not fair, but who cares. These clubs offer great feel and great distance. Why not take advantage of new technology. I am trying to score, not impress my partners with my equipment. After a few birdies the clubs looked even better. Great clubs and easy to hit... November 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Distance, Feel and Tighter Shot Dispersion I tried the Speedbladez, AP1s, G-25s, JPX 825s & the EZ Forged. When testing I had the best results with the EZ Forged. Better feel, length, & shot dispersion. They were easy to hit with their big sweet spot but in a club that isn't an over-sized GI iron. If the name EZ bothers you do like the Brits pronounce it E “Zed” Forged. In terms of workability with these I hit a couple of really nice cut/fade mid irons around trees to greens today. I waited to write my review after playing a few weeks with them. I went with the Nippon NS Pro 950 stiff shaft as I got a smoother feel and this shaft doesn’t hit the ball as high as the XP105. I couldn't be happier with the EZ forged, especially the tighter shot dispersion I'm getting. If you want a forgiving iron and can get over the orange badging, try them. If they were Pings or Cobras everyone would love them. But since they don’t look like a classic Mizuno iron a lot of people are put off by them. I brought them because I hit them better than other irons I tried. They have great performance and feel with the ability to help improve my game. I will take the different look (which I actually like) and use my head covers and no one will know what they are other than to say nice shot. Which is my main goal with these irons, have more of those than ever before. All in all the EZ Forged are exceeding my expectations. October 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by One word... AWESOME! I've been playing w/ brand "C" for about 10 years and finally decided it was time to look into a new set of irons. I was set on buying a forged set from brand "N" but the salesperson asked me to try the JPXez forged and see what I thought. I was really impressed. I've had the JPX for a couple of months and have been playing 4-6 times a week (sometimes twilight) but these irons have brought my scores from 90's to mid to low 80's... Love everything about them. The 4 iron is easy to hit, distance and workability is great... these Irons have greatly improved my confidence on attacking the flag with a long iron on the shorter par 5s. Worth the extra $$$. It's true what they say, "you get what you pay for". October 16, 2014
