Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bag - Does its job This bag has very few reviews online, so I felt obligated to give it a review here. The Woode top is a great way to organize clubs. My previous bag was a 5-way and was nowhere as organized and clean looking as the Woode Top on this bag. I'll address some of the issues from a previous review. The shoulder straps work fine for me. At first I was concerned that they did not fit properly like some have said, but after putting the clubs into the bag the weight was very evenly and appropriately distributed after a little bit of adjusting to my frame (~6ft 170lbs). I find the pocket space to be adequate (there is a review on youtube that a kid did where you can get an idea). My old bag did not have a personal items pocket, but only had two large pockets on each side. This bag has those two large with some smaller breakdowns. I am a fan of the ball pouch and small "tee" pouch above it, which both provide plenty of space (some people said they couldn't hold enough balls, I have 20 in there how many do you honestly need?). My wood head covers fit down to the top of the bag, and the putter fits perfectly at the top of the bag. The material seems durable. I do agree, it would be nicer to have a clip rather than a strong elastic band for a towel loop, but I suppose for 80 bucks it won't be perfect. The clips for the rain cover are a bit tough to get on, but they are equally difficult to take off with accessible clubs (I would say that's a good thing since you'd rather have it stay on in the rain). The legs are sturdy and do occasionally catch on my right leg when I pick the bag up quickly and at certain angles. The water-bottle slot does not cause me any distraction. One other downside is the base. If you stand the bag vertically it is less stable than most bags due to its 4 point stands. I think the youtube video overplays this, as my bag doesn't fall unless I push it. Then again, it isn't a cart bag. To conclude, this bag is a phenomenal deal. If you are upgrading from an old, crummy bag and do not want to spend 250 bucks this is a no-brainer. I think for the price it can easily compete with some of these top of the line bags for us weekend warriors. March 11, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing from Ogio I've had an Ogio bag for over 16 years. It was time to replace it and thought the Shredder was the closes to my old bad. The main problem is the shoulder strap is attached way to high on the bag and with the three connectors too close together. I'm of average height and build but struggle to get my shoulders into the strap. Once on the weighting can not be distributed evenly across your back while most of the weight rests on your left shoulder no mater how you adjust the strap lengths. All the pockets are smaller than my old bag. The towel ring has been replaced with a towel elastic string. After a few seasons I can see this string breaking or becoming very loose. This bag is also shorter than my old bag. I have a hard time keeping my head covers on as they don't reach or barely reach the top of the club holder. The bag cover is now attached with metal snap instead of Velcro like my old bag. Snaps are very hard to snap and unsnap while over time they tend to rust. On the plus side this bag stands very well and has an extra pocket below the handle for tees or balls. Over all Ogio's priority seems to have been cutting cost and taking short cuts on this bag over practicality for the owner. July 20, 2014
