Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 73 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great feel and control Great feel when striking the ball and the control is awesome !!!! It is a smaller club head so you have to be a good ball striker for these irons. Miss hits can be way off. Long irons have the weighting low and make hitting long irons so much easier. Mid to short irons have great control and spin. If you are a sub 80 player and do not miss hit the ball a lot make the investment in these clubs. August 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Extremely Impressive I first saw these irons at Golfsmith, with a demo 6 iron in a practice bay sitting with other clubs. It stood out- the soft, sleek, forged steel is clearly the look that other clubmakers will soon try to imitate. I took a few swings and was hooked! The soft feel of each strike off the forged face was so much more pleasant than my Taylormade Burner 2.0s, the Pings I played before that, or anything else for that matter that I've ever tried. Ball flight was consistent and true. I became a Golfsmith regular- kept going back to try that club and others like it. The only thing that came halfway close were Muzano forged irons- but dated technology. With my swing (10 handicap)- though fast- the stiff steel shafts on the Apex Pros was too stiff, so the techs fit with the regular stiffness, 105 weight shafts and perfection. Have used them five times already with spectacular results. Everybody else wants to try them. Not sure what one reviewer was talking about with his insert coming out- no problem there, these clubs are solid. I also tried the Taylormade Slider irons that Taylormade encourages salespeople to market as "the greatest thing in generations", but i found the Sliders to be unremarkable, just simply another modified Burner iron variant. The Nike Coverts are nice if you're on a lesser budget, but if you can afford these Callaways, these are the irons you've been waiting for. Hats off to Callaway for their biggest breakthrough since the Big Berthas 25 years ago. I toyed with waiting for a new model year price drop, next spring, several golf shops suggested that unlikely, these are flying off there shelves, even at $1,099. Get carefully fitted to decide the flex, especially if you're considering stiff steel shafts. Enjoy! August 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Best feeling irons(with consistent accuracy) Of any irons used in last 20 years. December 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product nice feel soft but not too soft. great look at address.easy to work but would still be usable for mid to medium high handicappers. no distance gain for me most likely because I am a long hitter anyway, do however seem to be helping with accuracy. I am waiting on Callaway to increase there line of tour grind wedges for us lefties. would love to have 50, 54, 58 degree available in left handed versions. November 30, 2014
