In the Callaway XR Deep Fairway Wood, Callaway started from scratch and changed everything from the Face Cup to the head shape to make golfers longer than they already are. It's led by the next-generation Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup that increases ball speeds across the face for greater distance and forgiveness, especially when you use it off the tee.

More distance, lower spin, and versatility are the highlights of adding a re-engineered Internal Standing Wave, and the completely redesigned shape is suited to deliver higher speeds. Callaway put in all this technology so you can pick up more yards off the tee and the fairway.

Higher Ball Speed and Forgiveness Across the Face
Callaway developed a lighter, thinner, next generation of the Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup. It increases ball speed all across the face and makes this fairway wood easier to hit with more forgiveness.

More Distance and Versatility Off the Tee
A lower center of gravity (CG), a lot less spin, and even more ball speed are what we get when we move the weight low and more forward with the re-engineered Internal Standing Wave. It's an important piece to add distance, particularly off the tee and from the fairway.
