I just picked this club up after work the other day. I went into a local Golfsmith and spoke to the store manager for a bit about drivers. He suggested that another employee look over my swing and told me to try out two drivers the Taylormade Burner and Callaway Diablo. After a few comfortable test swings and the employees praise of the TM Burner I decided to purchase it. I must say in the store I was crushing it(so it appeared). When i used it on an actual course i was able to crush it right off the tee dead center down the fairway 200 + for the 1st 6 hole. I am a beginner and this club is really very forgiving. I didn't start slicing my drives till the later holes when i got overconfident and most likely tired and tried to really crush the ball. Over all i would recommend, but what do i know i am a beginner.

This driver increased my distance about 15 yards right away. Also, the closed face makes it harder to slice.

I purchased the Burner on 6/13/10, took it to the range and hit over 180 drives with it. Played 15 holes at Balboa golf course Sunday evening, sliced it once and hooked it twice, everything else down the middle. My avg. drive went from 226 to 250. Thank you to sales person Juan P. at the Mission Valley store for fitting me with the driver I needed to get my game on track.
