Placing International Orders
There are four ways to place an international order:

  1. Web: Shop online, add items to your shopping cart, and checkout. This is the best method to expedite shipping of your order.
  2. Phone: Call us at 001-512-837-4810 and one of our expert caddies will assist you.
  3. Mail: Fill out an order form and mail it to:

Placing an Order and Calculating Shipping
Please register your international account. Once you've registered, you're ready to shop. Once you have added all the items to your cart, click on "Golfsmith Checkout." You will be asked to continue through several screens before your international shipping rate is calculated and displayed. This information will be given to you prior to any request for payment.

Can All Items Be Shipped Internationally?
Certain items, such as Clearance or Sale apparel or shoes, and pre-owned clubs cannot be shipped internationally. These items are located in our retail stores, which are not equipped to ship international orders. You can check to see if an item can be shipped internationally by looking for items whose availability date shows to be "in-stock," or by calling Golfsmith Customer Service by phone (toll-free US: 1-800-813-6897; International: 512-837-4810). "In-stock" items are located in our warehouse and can ship internationally. Items drop-shipped by the vendor to our warehouse, special orders, and custom club orders can be shipped to an international address. These items will show shipping availability dates of 2-4 weeks from the day of the order.

Customs and Duties
All orders from outside the United States must be pre-paid in U.S. dollars and are subject to normal import duty, taxes and customs clearance charges in the destination country (for Canadian orders, please see below). International shipping duties and taxes are the guest's responsibility; Golfsmith has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. If a guest refuses shipment due to duties and taxes, the guest will be liable for any costs incurred by Golfsmith International.

Shipping Timeframe
Most orders are shipped within two business days. Some items (including custom clubs and personalized items) may not be carried in a Golfsmith warehouse - these items will be shipped to Golfsmith from the vendor. These items can take up to 4-6 weeks before shipping to the destination country. All international orders will ship once all items are in stock - no partial shipments are allowed.

New International Customers
For your protection you may be asked to provide proof of credit card ownership, including a copy of your most recent credit card statement and a copy of a valid identification card.

Wire Transfer Instructions
Some first-time international customers may be required to pre-pay their order in U.S. funds by wire transfer. Any fees associated with the wire transfer must be paid by the customer. To obtain wiring instructions, please call 800.813.6897, international 001-512-837-4810 or email to international@golfsmith.com.

Please include the following information with your wire transfer:

  • Your full name
  • Your Golfsmith customer account number
  • Your order number

You may be charged a bank fee for processing the wire transfer. Orders will be cancelled if the wire transfer is not received within 10 business days.

Snake Eyes components are available to European guests exclusively through Golfsmith Europe. Please contact Golfsmith Europe for additional information or to place an order for any Snake Eyes products.

International Return Policy
If your merchandise arrives damaged please contact our Guest Care department or call us at 001-512-837-4810, and we will assist you in replacing it.

In the event that you would like to return any merchandise purchased from Golfsmith International that is not damaged or defective, you will be responsible for any shipping cost you may incur.

Can I Use My Own FedEx or UPS Account to Ship My Order?
Golfsmith customers can use their own FedEx accounts for shipping orders. At this time, however, Golfsmith customers cannot use their own UPS accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. To use your FedEx account to ship your order, please contact Golfsmith Customer Service by phone (toll-free US: 1-800-813-6897; International: 512-837-4810) for assistance.

Is a Shipment to Guam, Puerto Rico, or an APO or FPO Address Considered an International Order?
No. Orders shipping to Guam, Puerto Rico, or APO or FPO addresses are considered domestic orders and are, therefore, charged domestic order rates.
